Industrial Visit to Barclays Bank , Noida

 

The placement cell of DAV Centenary college Faridabad organized an industrial visit to Barclays Bank, Noida in association with the Department of Commerce (SFS ). This trip was planned by an NGO named International association of human value and sponsored by Barclay Bank. This trip was organized only for girl students. An orientation session was conducted on the zoom platform by the team of IHAV, NGO at one day before this trip. The industrial visit to Barclays bank, Noida turned out to be a wonderful experience for our girl students of B.Com(H) and B.Voc(RM).

The key point of this visit was to generate awareness among girl students on three aspects; financial literacy, career opportunities and resume writing in which Barclays employees interacted with each student individually instead of assessing them in a group.

Each employee interacted with one or two students and took their queries along with sharing their experiences and offering suitable suggestions and guidance. Faculty and students were more than happy after the visit. such type of industry visits help our students to get practical knowledge of the corporate sector as well as to build up their confidence level.

We all should head towards better learning environments and thereby boosting up the confidence level of both teachers and students. Thanks to Dr. Bindu and Mr. Vijay ji who tied up with IAHV, an NGO for the wonderful trip.
