YRC ( Youth Red Cross ) Girls' and Boys'

The Youth Red Cross is a dynamic movement dedicated to empowering young individuals with humanitarian values and a sense of social responsibility. Committed to serving humanity, the Youth Red Cross engages young people in various community service projects, disaster relief efforts, and health awareness campaigns. Award from Governor 08.09.2022

Youth Red Cross Counselor, Dr. Vijay Wanti receiving Youth Red Cross Shield DAV Centenary College, Faridabad, from Hon'ble Governor-cum-President, Indian Red Cross Society, Haryana State at Haryana Raj Bhawan, Chandigarh on 8th Sept 2022.

She has also been awarded as Best YRC Counsellor for the Commendable work done by her.

Blood Donation Camp 21.09.2022

Blood donation camp was organized by GIFT (Globally Integrated Foundation for Thalassemia), Foundation Against Thalassemia, Rotary Club South Delhi, NSS Unit and YRC Unit at DAV Centenary College. It was inaugurated by Dr. Sunil Kumar Garg (Registrar, JC Bose University of Science and Technology). Acting Principal Dr. Savita Bhagat inspired everyone to contribute in the noble cause while increasing everyone's enthusiasm. Shri Madan Chawla Founder & President (GIFT), Ravindra Dudeja, Harish Ratra, JK Bhatia Member of (Foundation Against Thalassemia), Umakant Prasad (President), Dharmesh Mehta (Secretary) Rotary Club, Aarush Gera, JD Arora Member of (Sant Bhagat Charitable Trust),        Jagbir, Budhan Member of (BK Hospital) made people aware through this camp.

Dr. Vijaywanti (Programme Officer Girls / YRC Counselor), Dr. Neeraj Singh (Programme Officer Students / YRC Counselor), Dr. Jitendra Dhul (Programme Officer Students / National Service Scheme), Miss Kavita Sharma (Programme Officer Girls / National Service Scheme) also participated. Boosted the morale of the students and motivated them for continuous blood donation for the children suffering from Thalassemia in the state.

More than 150 students donated blood in this camp.

International Day for Elder Persons on 17.10.2022

YRC Unit of our College organised International day for older persons on 17th October, 2022 along with NSS and NCC units of the college. Guests included Advocate Ranjana Sharma, Mr. Arun Mehra, Dr.Ram Bhagat (Dy. CMO), Dr. Gajraj (Dy. CMO) and Dr. Reyna as Guest of Honour (District Pgm Co-ordinator–NCD Cell.

This event was organised in the College auditorium and was attended by 70 Grandparents from civil society and more than 30 College faculty and other staff members.
