Successful Completion of NSS Camp in DAV Centenary College A seven-day NSS camp was organized under the leadership of Officiating Principal Dr. Vijaywanti in D.A.V. Centenary College . The event was completed under the supervision of Officer Dr. Jitendra Dhull (PO-Boys Unit) and Miss Kavita Sharma (PO-Girls Unit). Many activities took place during the camp with the objective of social service. The volunteers visited the school of disabled students and also visited the cow shed and did charity as per their capacity. On this occasion many activities were organized such as debate, mehndi competition etc. A successful attempt was made to awaken self-confidence among the students through sports. In this event, many speakers benefited the students with their ideas. Monika Gupta educated the students about mental balance. Mahila Police Station's SHO Savita enlightened the students about the rules and regulations. Dr. Neeraj Singh informed about the environment. Dr. Yogesh expressed his views on the motto of NSS. The camp was concluded by Dr. Sunidhi, Principal GVW Faridabad, who was the keynote speaker. She Motivated the NSS students, and advised then to serve the society throughout their life and contribute their bit for improving the society. , Many cultural programs were also conducted during the Camp. On the closing occasion, Dr. Vijaywanti , in her address, gave the message to the students to always remain dedicated to the society by establishing a relationship between society and individual. She also Inspired them to imbibe the significance of the N.S.S. song in one's life. On this occasion, college teachers, non-teaching staff and N.S.S. Students of the unit were present. Brijesh, Pankaj Upadhyay, Neha were honored with NSS Best Volunteer Award. Rishabh Shukla, Naman Mishra, Drishti Kumari and Deepti were given the NSS Active Volunteer Award.
