National Webinar on ‘Cyber Security’ was organized at DAV Centenary College, Faridabad
DAV Centenary College, Faridabad organized a Virtual Power Webinar on ‘Cyber Security’ under the Chief Patronage of Padma Shri, Dr. Punam Suri Ji, President DAVCMC, New Delhi and the Officiating Principal, Dr. Savita Bhagat, the Patron of the Program on 10th Sept. 2020 in association with ICT Academy. The webinar was led by two eminent speakers Mr. Shubhjit Bhattacharya, Senior Program Manager and Co-founder of Global IT Startup and Mr. Vishal, Technical Product Specialist. The session was specifically organized for students of DAV Centenary College and among which around 395 students registered for the same. The speakers guided our students about the practice of protecting systems, networks and programs from digital attack. They also flashed light upon the issues like the practical exposure and discussed various tips for protecting our social media account, bank accounts, e-transactions and many other digital trends. The Patron, Dr. Savita Bhagat asserted that in this pandemic where everything is getting digitalized, it is very important to keep an eye on cyber thefts. This program was initiated to alert the students regarding technical hazards. The Organising team of the event included Ms. Nisha Agnihotri, Ms. Uttama Pandey and Ms. Kumud Sharma. The event was conducted through Microsoft teams and was successfully culminated by distributing e-certificates to the students.
