DAV Centenary College, Faridabad, hosted a spectacular induction program for its newly
enrolled B.Sc. students, setting the stage for an exciting academic journey. The highlight of
the event was the presence of a distinguished alumna, Shirshty, a renowned social media
influencer, who inspired the fresh faces with her journey to success.
The program commenced with an insightful PowerPoint presentation by Dr Rajkumari and
Ms Shweta explaining the various activities of the departmental clubs and the college. A brief
introduction of the faculty members was given.
In a bid to promote sustainability, the college also inaugurated a recycling paper activity
during the induction program. This eco-friendly initiative aims to instil a sense of
environmental responsibility among students and the wider community.
The guest of the day, Shirshty, shared her experiences and encouraged the students to follow
their passions. She stressed the significance of education and continuous learning in today's
fast-paced digital age. Shirsty's success story resonated with the students, motivating them to
pursue their dreams with determination.
The Officiating Principal, Dr Savita Bhagat addressing the students emphasized on the
importance of a scientific approach in today's world. The Principal urged the students to
embrace curiosity and innovation as they embark on their academic endeavours.
A small cultural program was presented by the students of the department. Dr Priya Kapoor,
Dean, proposed the vote of thanks.
