Inauguration of the Seven-Day NSS Camp at D.A.V. Centenary College
The seven-day National Service Scheme (NSS) camp at D.A.V. Centenary College was inaugurated by the officiating principal, Dr. Archana Bhatia, with a Havan ceremony and lamp lighting. Following this, the volunteers enhanced the charm of the camp by enthusiastically participating in cultural programs. The theme of the camp was “Youth for My Bharat and Digital Literacy.”
The event commenced with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Addressing the students, Dr. Archana Bhatia elaborated on the purpose of the day-and-night camp, scheduled from March 22 to March 28. She emphasized that the camp aims to connect the youth with the National Service Scheme with a spirit of dedication, teamwork, and responsibility. She also highlighted the significance of ethical values and extended her blessings for a bright future. Additionally, all students were registered on the My Bharat portal.
Subsequently, Dr. Jitendra Dhull (Program Officer, Boys’ Wing) and Ms. Kavita Sharma (Program Officer, Girls’ Wing) provided a brief overview of NSS activities. A total of 100 volunteers actively participated in the camp, showcasing their skills and enthusiasm.
