Youth Red Cross (YRC) Club

D.A.V. Centenary College organized a screening test and orientation program for the new members of the Youth Red Cross (YRC) Club under the guidance of Principal Dr. (Ms.) Archana Bhatia, along with Boys' counselor, Mr. Dinesh Kumar and Girls' counselor Ms. Omita Johar on 18/09/2024. The primary objective of this event was to assess the capabilities of students eager to join the YRC and to provide them with essential information about the club’s mission and activities. The testing involved evaluating students on teamwork, problem-solving skills, and their knowledge of Red Cross principles. Following the assessments, the counselors shared insights on past projects and upcoming initiatives, inspiring enthusiasm among the new members. The event concluded with an engaging Q&A session, allowing students to actively participate and seek guidance from the counselors. The program was attended by over 50 students and faculty, reflecting the college's commitment to nurturing socially responsible citizens.
