Workshop on Design Thinking, Critical Thinking, and Innovation Design

The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of DAV Centenary College, Faridabad, organized a workshop on Design Thinking, Critical Thinking, and Innovation Design. A total of around 400 students of BBA, BCA, B.Sc, and B.Voc (Retail Mgt) programme participated in the workshop. The workshop was organized under the direction of Officiating Principal & IIC President Dr. Archana Bhatia and coordinated by Vice-President Dr. Narendar Duggal, Convener Dr. Ruchi Arora, and Organizing Secretaries Dr. Bindu Roy, Dr. Ankita Mohindra, Dr. Minakshi Hooda & Dr. Rajkumari. Mr. Venkatesh Bharti, Director of VIIPS, as the keynote speaker discussed the concept of 3iii (Idea, Innovation, & Implementation). The objective of the workshop was to promote a structured and human-centered approach to problem-solving, cultivate disciplined and analytical thinking, and encourage the creation of novel solutions through innovative design. The College signed a MoU with VIIPS for providing patents-related information, incubation services/On job training, internships, and placements. The workshop offered practical skills and insights, fostering problem-solving and innovative design, while encouraging future collaborations.
