Workshop on Canva Designing and Editing

DAV Centenary College organised a workshop on Canva Designing and Editing App to train the students on how to promote their accounts on social media platforms in the right manner.

The main objective of this workshop was to comprehend the students about various features like different icons, memes creation, video editing, poster designing, presentation making, resume writing, invitation card making etc. used on social media accounts. A team of two Assistant Professors of the journalism department, Ms. Radhika Mittal and Ms. Kritika, acted as resource persons. Both the teachers have professional expertise on different designing and editing software in the media world.

The Officiating Principal of the college Dr. Archana Bhatia expressed in her address that we must teach the students about the advanced technology used in the present times apart from our course curriculum so that they are well prepared for their future pursuits. Journalism Department head Ms. Rachna Kasana also shared her insights on various uses of Canva in the media world and she appreciated the resource person and the students for the successful workshop. Technical assistant Pramod Kumar, PRO Virendra Singh and Rajni Tuteja from BVoc were present on this occasion. About 60 students of BAJMC and BVoc participated in the workshop.
