
DAV Centenary College, Faridabad celebrated World Environment Day with a special tree plantation drive, organized by the Horticulture Committee under the guidance of Principal Dr. Narender Kumar.
To mark the occasion, a variety of medicinal and shade-giving trees were planted across the college campus, promoting the message of environmental responsibility. Faculty members including Dr. Raj Kumari, Ms. Tanuja, Ms. Suman, Ms. Rajni, Ms. Sonia Narula, and Ms. Abhilasha actively participated in the initiative and inspired students to take a proactive role in preserving nature.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Dr. Narender Kumar highlighted the crucial role of trees in sustaining life. He stressed the need to nurture a clean and green environment for future generations and urged everyone to commit to planting and protecting more trees.
The event concluded with all attendees taking a collective oath to care for and safeguard the newly planted saplings, reinforcing the spirit of environmental stewardship.
