Toran Making Competition: “Enlightening Diwali”

Organized by Sanskriti – The Cultural Club, Department of Business Administration, DAV Centenary College

On October 25, 2024, Sanskriti – The Cultural Club of the Department of Business Administration at DAV Centenary College organized a Diya or Candle Decoration and Toran Making Competition, themed “Enlightening Diwali.” Fourteen students from various BBA classes participated, showcasing their creativity and talent. Harsh Bala and Chandra Prakash from the second year got the first prize. Bhawna and Priya from the final year got the second prize and Ankit, Varun and Mohit from the first year got the third prize in the competition.

The competition was held under the guidance of Dr Archana Bhatia, Officiating Principal of the college. The judging panel included Dr Ruchi Arora and Dr Anju Gupta. Dean of the BBA Department, Dr. Nisha Singh, along with the Head of the Department Dr. Ankita Mohindra and all BBA faculty members, attended the event.

Dr Nisha Singh served as the Convener of the competition, while Ms Snehlata, Ms Meenakshi Kaushik, and Ms Parveen acted as the Organizing Secretaries for the program.
