Tobacco Free India Awareness Program

A program was organized to declare DAV Centenary College as a "tobacco free educational institution" and to create awareness about No to tobacco Campaign . Sub Inspector Surendra Singh and Birendra Balhara also known as Traffic Tau, participated as the main speakers in the program. The main objective of this program was to make the students aware of drug addiction and increasing cyber crime.

Mr. Surendra Singh informed the students about the increasing effects of drug addiction in the country through videography and also made them aware of the increasing cyber crime day by day. Traffic Tau discussed the ill effects of tobacco by giving the slogan of ‘Nasha Bhagao, Desh Bachao’. The Officiating Principal of the college, Dr. Archana Bhatia, in her address, gave the message to the students to always follow the right path and expressed gratitude to the speakers for their significant contribution. On this occasion, about a hundred students were present along with the program coordinator Dr. Yogesh Sharma, co-coordinator Dr. Sarika Saini, Dr. Nisha Singh, Renuka, Dr. Jitendra Dhul and other teachers.
