SWAYAM NPTEL Awareness Workshop

SWAYAM NPTEL Awareness Workshop was organized by Business Administration Department of DAV Centenary College, Faridabad under SWAYAM LOCAL CHAPTER, DAVCC on 29th July 2024 for the students of all the Under-Graduate courses.

The main objective of this workshop was to spread awareness among students and highlight the significance of SWAYAM courses, as it is a program initiated by the Government of India which offers various free courses from top universities. Moreover, students get certifications and university credits which are transferred to their degrees.

Dr. Archana Bhatia, Off. Principal addressed the students and she encouraged students to explore the courses offered on SWAYAM portal and enroll in those courses that align with their interests and academic goals.

Dr. Ruchi Malhotra, Overall Coordinator SFS and Dr. Nisha Singh were also present. Dr. Ankita Mohindra, SPOC Swayam Local Chapter, DAVCC explained the details and facilities provided by Swayam for meritorious students like options of fee waiver, NPTEL DISCIPLINE STARS etc.

Around 150 students attended this workshop. All the students participated enthusiastically and many students got registered in different courses on the spot.

Ms. Snehlata and Ms. Shivani Hans were the team members and Ms. Renuka Malhotra was the Program Convenor.
