Orientation Program 3rd Day
A Three day orientation program was organised for the first year students of B.J.M.C, B.
.M. and B.Sc. departments of D.A.V. Centenary College.

Centenary College.The students were familiarised about the history and glory of D.A.V. i.e. Dayanand Anglo Vedic which means the inclusion of modern and Vedic education. Students were made aware of the environment, rules, curriculum and various activities of the college, a virtual tour of the college was conducted and information about various clubs, committees and their incharges were shared.
As special guests, alumni of the journalism department of the college, India Daily Live's news anchor Sonika Singh and senior marketing manager of Africa region from the tourism department Mr. Bhuvesh Jaitley were present.
The Officiating Principal of the college Dr. Archana Bhatia, delivered her welcome address to the students. Dr. Bhatia emphasized on improving personality in life and achieving goals. Alumnus Bhuvesh Jaitley told the students how the teachers and the college helped him achieve this position. News anchor Sonika Singh also shared her views on respecting the Gurus and setting high goals.
Dr. Archana Singhal and Dr. Ruchi Arora were the convenor and co-convenor for the programme. The members of organising team were Dr. Bindu Roy, Mr. Dinesh Chaudhary, Ms. Aarti Kumari, Ms. Kiran Kalia. The stage was conducted by Dr. Suman Taneja and Ms.. Meenakshi Kaushik . On this occasion, about 400 students were present along with Dr. Meenakshi Hooda, Dr. Rashmi Raturi, Ms. Rachna Kasana, Mr. Virendra Singh, Mr. Amit Dahiya and other teaching faculty.
