Online Quiz Competition on ‘Satyarth Prakash and Arya Ratna’
An online quiz competition on ‘Satyarth Prakash and Arya Ratna’ was organized by the Arya Samaj unit of DAV Centenary College for the first year students. About 110 students of the college participated in this competition. The main objective of the competition was to make the students aware about Swami Dayanand Saraswati, Satyarth Prakash, the history of Arya Samaj and the major gems of Arya Samaj.
In this competition, Rupali bagged the first prize of Rs. 1100, Vishnu secured the second prize of Rs. 700 and Jahnavi got the third prize of Rs. 500. The Officiating principal of the college, Dr. Archana Bhatia honored the winning participants by giving them cash prizes. In her address, she mentioned that the sacrifices made by the Arya Samaj for the upliftment of the society can never be forgotten and that Arya Samaj has contributed in every field of life. On this occasion, Dr. Archana Singhal, President of Arya Samaj unit, Competition Coordinator Dr. Amit Sharma, Technical Coordinator Pramod Kumar, E.H. Ansari and other teachers were also present.
