- One Week Yoga Camp organized at DAV Centenary College

A week-long Yoga Camp, organized in collaboration with NCC, NSS, YRC, and the Physical Education and Sports units of the college, continued smoothly on its fifth day with the performance of various yoga asanas under the Common Yoga Protocol program. Under the able leadership of the college’s Officiating Principal, Dr. Narendra Kumar, students, cadets, and volunteers actively participated in the session. Dr. Kumar also addressed the teaching staff, highlighting the importance of incorporating yoga into academic life. He encouraged teachers to participate in yoga sessions alongside students to relieve physical and mental stress during the academic schedule. Yoga instructor Umesh Kumar effectively guided participants, explaining the significance of each asana in detoxifying the body through yoga. Faculty members including Dr. Kamlesh from the History Department, Dr. Bindu Roy from Commerce, Dr. Rajkumari from Science, and Dharamveer from Economics, along with other teaching and non-teaching staff, took active part in the session.
