Mock Parliament Session on Union Budget

The Commerce Department (GIA) of D.A.V. Centenary College organized a mock parliament session focused on the Union Budget 2024. The session commenced with the inaugural speech by the program coordinator. Students were assigned roles such as Prime Minister, Finance Minister, and Leader of the Opposition. The Finance Minister presented the budget, followed by a lively debate in both Hindi and English. A voting process on the budget was implemented. Divya from B.Com (Honors) was chosen as the best speaker from the government's side, and Jiakant Dwivedi from B.A.J.M.C. was chosen as the best speaker from the opposition's side. Both were honored with a trophy. All participants were given certificates.
