A Lecture on IPR Protection at DAV Centenary College
The Research Committee and IIC cell of DAV Centenary College in association with Vastav IncubateX and Udyamita Foundation organized an extension lecture on the topic “Exposing Scams: Startups and IPR Protection in the World of Entrepreneurship”.
On this occasion, expert speaker Venkatesh Bharti shared valuable information on preventing fraud during patent filing and protecting intellectual property. The event discussed patent publication, fraud in patent filing, IPR protection strategies and real cases of startups that have successfully protected IPR.
Officiating Principal Dr. Archana Bhatia emphasized on the importance of IPR awareness among teachers and entrepreneurs. Dr. Bhatia stated that teachers are committed to promote innovation and entrepreneurship, and this workshop is an important step towards achieving this goal.
The lecture was coordinated by Dr. Ruchi Arora, Dr. Bindu Roy. The event was organized by the organizing team namely Dr. Suman Taneja, Dr. Nisha Singh and Kumud Sharma.
The workshop was attended by around 50 teachers, who benefited from the expertise of Venkatesh Bharti and gained valuable information on how to keep their innovations safe and avoid potential scams.
