Inter-Departmental Painting Competition

An inter-departmental painting competition was organized at DAV Centenary College . The theme of the competition was 'Education' which included various sub-topics like 'Sarva Shiksha', 'Technical Education', 'Women Education', 'Child Labour', 'Reservation'. The objective of this competition was to assess the creativity of the students. The jury comprised of DAV Public School's Fine Art Department Head Saroj Singh and DAVIM's Assistant Professor Dr. Anjali Ahuja. Out of about forty participating students, Yati Chaudhary, a student of B.Com 1st year, stood first, Meet Koli of B.Com 3rd year stood second and Shikha Sharma, a student of B.Com 1st year, stood third. All the winners will be given prizes and certificates on the occasion of 15th August celebration. The Officiating Principal, Dr. Archana Bhatia, congratulated all the winning students and wished them a bright future. Competition coordinator Dr. Anju Gupta, co-coordinator Shivani, organizing secretary Aarti Kumari, organizing committee members Ambika, Renuka, Virendra Singh along with other teachers were also present.
