Inter-college Annual Science Marathon-2023

The Department of Science and God & Science Club of DAV Centenary College, Faridabad organized “Inter-college Annual Science Marathon-2023” on 1st March 2023. In this program students from 10 different colleges participated and showcased their talent. The event included Quiz, Collage making competition and a guest lecture. It was organized under the guidance and mentorship of Officiating Principal, Dr. Savita Bhagat. The main aim of organizing this program was to celebrate "National Science Day" and develop scientific culture and attitude among the students. Dr. Maneesha Garg (J.C. Bose YMCA, FBD) delivered lecture on life of Missile man of India “DR. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam”. In the Collage making competition, Priya of Govt. College for Women got the First Position, Lakhan Lal of GGDSD College, Palwal got Second Position and Preeti of Govt. College, and Tigaon got Third Position. In Quiz, Sudeshna Kumari, Yash & Deepak of Aggarwal College, Ballabhgarh got the First Position, Mohd. Zaheen, Nisha Rawat & Mohit of GGDSD College, Palwal got Second Position and Geetika, Sommaya & Kamini of K. L. Mehta Dayanand College for Women got Third position. The running trophy was won by GGDSD College, Palwal. Dr. Priya Kapoor (Dean) encouraged and guided to organize the event. This event has been organized for a number of years by Science Department of DAV Centenary College, Faridabad. The program was organized by Ms Pooja Sharma, Ms. Ruchi along with Conveners Ms. Ravinder Kaur and Ms. Sujata Lakhotia. All other staff members and students played an important role in making this program a success.
