An extension lecture on the topic 'Hindi Ke Badhte Kadam' was organized by the department of Hindi at DAV Centenary College. Prof. Zahida Jabeen of the Hindi Department of Kashmir University and Dr. Harisharan Verma, Editor of the Indian Journal of Social Concern Research, were the main speakers in this lecture. On this occasion, the acting principal of the college, Dr. Archana Bhatia, gave a message to all the students that Hindi is the pride of India and we should adopt Hindi with great pride and respect. The entire program was conducted under the supervision of Arts Faculty Department Head, Dr. Shivani Tanwar, program coordinator, Mamta Kumari, and program secretary Dr. Yogesh Sharma. On this occasion, Dr. Jitendra Dhull, Dr. Narendra Duggal, Kamlesh, Dr. Sonia Narula along with about 100 students, were present.
