Hindi Diwas Celebration at DAV Centenary College
According to Article 343 (1) of the Constitution, Hindi has been given the status of official language. In the memory of the same, every year Hindi Diwas is celebrated on 14 September 2024 by the Hindi Department of DAV Centenary College , Faridabad.
The chief guest for the program was Dr. Anju Dua Jaimini, famous litterateur and ex- administrative officer, Income Tax Department. As special guest Mr. Nawab Kesar, a renowned litterateur, attended the program. Nawab Kesar, an expert in Braj Bhasha, enthralled the audience by presenting poetry recitation in a very captivating style. On the other hand, Anju Dua Jaimini introduced the students to the fine errors of Hindi grammar and enhanced their knowledge. Both the litterateurs also donated their published books to the college library.
The Officiating Principal Dr. Archana Bhatia also provided practical life lessons to the students through her poetry recitation. Dr. Shivani, Dr. Ruchi Malhotra, Dr. Amit Sharma, Ms. Poonam, Mr. E.H. Ansari, Mr. Netrapal, Ms. Rachna Kasana and other teachers were also present in the program. The stage was managed by Ms. Mamta Kumari and the vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Yogesh. Students participated enthusiastically in this program and contributed to the promotion of Hindi language.
