An extension lecture on the theme “Upgradation of Library Resources for Academic and Research Purposes” was organized by the college library in collaboration with the Research Committee. Under the leadership of Principal Dr. Narendra Kumar, this initiative proved to be a meaningful step towards enhancing research culture and enriching academic resources within the institution. Dr. Ram Chandra, Librarian of Aggarwal College, Ballabgarh, was present as the keynote speaker.
In his lecture, Dr. Ram Chandra provided detailed insights to teachers and students about various online academic resources. He offered practical guidance on the calculation of impact factor, selection of appropriate research journals, and techniques of research writing. He also encouraged teachers to make optimal use of the numerous digital resources available for student learning. Using the concept of "One Nation One Subscription" as a foundation, he emphasized the need for complete digitization of the college library.
Around thirty faculty members actively participated in the session. A question-and-answer segment followed the lecture, during which participants shared their queries and received valuable solutions. The successful organization of the extension lecture was made possible with the support of Ms. Ritu from the Library Committee and Dr. Bindu Rai, Convener of the Research Committee
