Extension Lecture on Principles of Remote Sensing

Extension Lecture on Principles of Remote Sensing at DAV College Geography department of DAV Centenary College organised an extension lecture on 'Principles of Remote Sensing'. The main objective of the lecture was to make the students aware of how to obtain information from a distance through remote sensing technology. Dr. Dushyant Kumar, Assistant Professor, Kheri Gujran Government College was the keynote speaker. He gave insights on this technology to the students in great detail. The Officiating Principal of the college Dr. Archana Bhatia addressed the students on how listening to such lectures not only increases knowledge, but also gives us an opportunity to understand the functioning of some very special information being used in human development. The entire program was organized by Ms. Rekha, Incharge of Geography Department, Ms. Archana, Dr. Suniti Ahuja Dean Arts Department and Dr. Shivani Tanwar Head of Arts Department. About sixty students registered their presence in this program.
