Spiritual Club of DAV Centenary College Organizes Enriching Trip to Vrindavan for Janmashtami Week
Under the celebration of Janmashtami Week, the Spiritual Club of DAV Centenary College Faridabad, organized a memorable trip to Vrindavan. The trip saw the participation of over 60 students, all eager to immerse themselves in the spirit of Lord Krishna and the rich cultural heritage of the holy town.
During the trip, students visited several renowned temples in Vrindavan, including the Banke Bihari Temple, Shri Radhavallabh Lal Ji Temple, ISKCON Temple, and Prem Mandir. They also made a visit to the Shri Ladli Ji Maharaj Temple in Barsana. The experience left the students filled with joy and happiness, as they soaked in the spiritual and positive atmosphere of these sacred sites. The mesmerizing temples, along with traditional handicrafts and local cuisines, left everyone amazed and enriched.
The journey was made comfortable with air-conditioned buses, ensuring a smooth travel experience for all participants. Officiating Principal Dr. Archana Bhatia sent her best wishes to the students for a successful visit. She emphasized the importance of such trips to sacred places in our lives, highlighting the spiritual and cultural impact they have. Dr. Bhatia also addressed safety concerns, particularly for girls in crowded places, and shared remedies to ensure their well-being.
Dr. Sonia Narula, the in-charge of the college's Spiritual Club, was the convener of the trip, ensuring everything ran smoothly. The trip was also supported immensely by Ms. Rachana Kasana,Ms.Shikha, Ms.Siya and Mr. Netrapal Sain, whose efforts contributed significantly towards the success of the event.
