Educational tour to the Geological Survey of India

22 Aug, 2024: An Educational tour to the Geological Survey of India was organised by the Geography Department of D.A.V. Centenary College. The purpose of the visit was to provide practical exposure to the students. Dr. Abhishek Verma, Dr. Pradeep and Dr. Deepak of Geological Survey of India presented their research work on Antarctica in front of the students. The students also visited Polar Museum and Rock Museum. The tour was successful with the cooperation of Dr. Mili Singh, Director of Geological Survey of India. This visit was organized by Ms. Rekha, Incharge Geography Department and Ms. Archana under the supervision of Officiating Principal of the college Dr. Archana Bhatia, Dr. Suniti Ahuja Dean Arts Department and Dr. Shivani, Head of Arts Department.
