Educational Tour To Parliament House

An Educational Tour To Parliament House The Hindi Department and Political Science Department of the DAV Centenary College organised an educational tour to Parliament House for the students of BA final year. The officials of Parliament House played an important role in making this tour successful. The students were made aware of the features of the old and the new Parliament House. The outline and functioning of the Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha were also discussed in detail and the curiosity of the students was satisfied by answering the questions that came in their minds. The main objective of the tour was to provide practical experience along with academic knowledge to the students. The Officiating Principal of the college Dr. Archana Bhatia, wished all the students a happy tour and shared that such educational tours provides a practical approach to the education and students understand the subjects in a better way. The entire tour was organised and managed under the supervision of the Head of the Arts Department, Dr. Shivani Tanwar. Departmental faculty Dr. Amit Sharma, Dr. Suman, Ms. Mamta Kumari, Ms. Heena and Dr. Yogesh along with Forty students participated in this tour.
