Educational Tour to Navbharat Times Bureau
DAV Centenary College Students Embark on Educational Tour to Navbharat Times Bureau office.
A group of 15 students from the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication (BAJMC) recently went on an educational tour to Navbharat Times, a leading Hindi daily.
The students were oriented by Sunil Gaur, senior journalist, Gauri Sharma, journalist, and a photo journalist Vijay who provided them with in-depth knowledge of various aspects of journalism.
The tour was organized by Rachna Kasana, Head of the BAJMC Department, who said, "This tour provided our students with a unique opportunity to gain practical knowledge of journalism."
Dr. Archana Bhatia, Officiating Principal, DAV Centenary College, emphasized the importance of educational tours, saying, "Such tours provide students with hands-on experience and exposure to the industry."
During the tour, students learned about reporting, editing, and photography techniques. They also got an insight into the functioning of a print media .
Sunil Gaur praised the students' enthusiasm and curiosity, saying, "It's a pleasure to share our knowledge with the next generation of journalists."
The students expressed gratitude for the opportunity, saying, "This tour was an incredible experience. We gained valuable knowledge and insight into the world of journalism."
