Diwali celebrations at DAV centenary college

A havan yajan was organized in the college yagyashala on the occasion of the festival of light, Diwali. All the teachers, non-teaching staff and students of the college performed the havan and wished for the welfare of the society. On this occasion, students of various departments gifted self-decorated colourful Diyas to Dr. Archana Bhatia Officiating Principal of the college. Mr. Dev Singh ji, a non-teaching staff who has been serving the college for almost thirty years, was also given a respectful and emotional farewell on the occasion. Dr. Jitendra Dhul, Dr. Suniti Ahuja among the teachers and Mr. Ramkumar, Mr. S.S. Tiwari, Mr. Mahesh Chand, Mr. Ramdev and Mr. Mohinder among the non-teachers praised the excellent and honest contribution of Mr. Dev Singh. Thereafter Dr. Archana Bhatia wished Dev Singh and his family for a good health and life. After this, everyone presented their talents through singing and dancing. At the end Dr. Bhatia wished everyone a Happy Diwali and distributed gifts.
