Course on “Python Programming”
Certificate distribution ceremony of skill development course at DAV Centenary College.
The BCA department of DAV College organised certificate distribution ceremony for the skill development course on “Python Programming". The course conducted for the students of BCA department, lasted for about two months (30 hours) and about fifty students participated in it. The trainer for the course was Mr. Shubham Singla.
Mr. Singla, an alumni (2015-2018) of the BCA department of the college is currently working as a Senior Analyst with Tiger Analytics. The purpose of this course was to make the students familiar with the dynamic aspects of Python programming and the features of the Python language. The students also created a minor project at the end which will help them in current scenario of jobs in the field of software development, data analysis, machine learning. The widespread use of this programming in industries ensures high demand for skilled Python developers.
This program was conducted under the guidance of the Officiating Principal of the college, Dr. Archana Bhatia and under the mentorship of Rajwinder Kaur and Tanu Kwatra from the BCA department.
Dr. Bhatia ascertained the students about the importance of technical education in the changing times. During the programme, HOD of BCA Department Dr. Meenakshi Hooda and Dean Mr. Dinesh Kumar along with all the teachers of BCA Department were present.
