Cadet Captain Abhishek Chauhan of DAV Centenary College, Faridabad has been awarded the prestigious scholarship under the Cadet Welfare Society (CWS) scheme by the National Cadet Corps (NCC). The scholarship cheque was presented to him at the 1 Haryana Naval Unit, Faridabad by the Unit's Commanding Officer, Captain (Indian Navy) Vikram Segat. The CWS scholarship, awarded to 1,000 academically brilliant NCC cadets across the country every year, carries a monetary value of ₹6,000 per cadet. Cadet Abhishek Chauhan, a final-year BCA student, has brought laurels to the college through his exemplary performance in academics and NCC activities. Officiating Principal of DAV Centenary College, Dr. Archana Bhatia, congratulated Cadet Chauhan and his family on this notable achievement.
