Beauty and Wellness Startup Course inaugurated at DAV Centenary College
DAV Centenary College and Shreeja Welfare jointly inaugurated the Beauty and Wellness Startup Course for the students of DAV Centenary College. The duration of this startup course will be thirty days. Former Administrative Officer of the Department of Income Tax, Dr. Anju Dua Jaimini attended the inaugural ceremony as the chief guest of the program.
Dr. Dua informed the students and teachers that this startup is an important initiative of the Government of India which aims to create a strong and inclusive ecosystem for innovation and entrepreneurship in India. She explained how startups impact the economy not only individually but also collectively. The Officiating Principal of the college, Dr. Archana Bhatia has played a pivotal role in initiating this program in the college by making the course free of cost for the interested students.
Dr. Archana Bhatia shared her views with the students explaining them how they can start their own business after completing such courses. She also promised the students to introduce other courses related to startups in the college very soon. The coordinator of this program was Rekha Sharma and the facilitator was Dr. Preeti Jha. Dr. Nidhi, Dr. Lalit Dhingra, Aarti and the course instructor Ms. Sunita Biyani were also present in this program.
