Awareness Camp on ‘Acupressure Therapy’ at DAV Centenary College
Department of Commerce(SFS) in collaboration with Vardhman Mahavir Sewa Society and Upadhyayratan 108 Gyansagar Charitable Trust organised an awareness camp on ‘Acupressure Therapy’. The main objective of the camp was to educate staff and students about acupressure, a healing technique that involves applying pressure to specific points on the body to restore balance and promote relaxation.
Dr. Subhash Chandra Jain, Retd. Engineer C.P.W.D. was the expert speaker for the session. He spoke about the significance of acupressure and also demonstrated treatment procedures for various health related problems.
The program was organised under the leadership of the Officiating Principal of the college Dr. Archana Bhatia.
Ms. Rekha Sharma and Dr. Lalita Dhingra were the convenor and co-convenor of the program. About three hundred students along with teaching faculty attended the program. The organising team of the program included Mr. E.H. Ansari, Dr. Priti Jha and Ms. Kiran Kalia.
