Anti-Tobacco Awareness Campaign.
The Anti-Tobacco Unit of DAV Centenary College organized an Anti-Tobacco awareness campaign. The objective of this program was to make the students aware of the ill effects of consuming tobacco products and to motivate them to stay away from addictions to the consumption of these products. Renowned advocate Rajesh Khatana and social worker Monika Gupta joined this program as key note speakers. In his address, Rajesh Khatana appealed to the students to boycott people who pollute society through the consumption of tobacco products. Monika Gupta administered an oath to all the students, saying that they will never consume drugs and will also make people around them aware of their addiction and ill effects .
The Officiating Principal of the college, Dr. Archana Bhatia, thanked both keynote speakers. Dr. Bhatia said that addiction is a big obstacle to nation-building, so we all should leave the evil path of addiction and walk on the right path. Dr. Yogesh Sharma was the coordinator, and Dr. Sarika Saini was the co-coordinator of the program. Dr. Shivani Tanwar, Dr. Nisha Singh, Dr. Rekha, Priya, Pinky, and other teachers, along with about a hundred students, were present.
