Anti-Drug Awareness Rally

In accordance with the directives of the Director of Higher Education, Haryana, an Anti-Drug Awareness Rally was organized at D.A.V. Centenary College, Faridabad, with the objective of sensitizing students and the community about the rising threat of substance abuse.
On this occasion, Officiating Principal Dr. Narender Kumar addressed the gathering and emphasized that “Addiction is a threat to both our present and future. If we truly aspire to eradicate this menace from its roots, such awareness campaigns must be conducted regularly, and collective efforts are essential to tackle this issue effectively.”
Students actively participated by creating awareness posters illustrating the harmful effects of drug abuse and raising powerful slogans like “Say No to Drugs, Save the Nation,” which drew considerable attention from the public and highlighted the urgency of the cause.
The primary aim of the event was to educate students about the detrimental impact of the growing drug problem in society, especially among youth.
Approximately *fifty* students took part in the event, showcasing great enthusiasm and commitment. The entire program was conducted successfully under the supervision of Program Coordinator Dr. Yogesh, Co-Coordinator Dr. Sarika Saini, and Ms. Renuka.
