- 30-hour training program

The Financial Literacy Cell of D.A.V. Centenary College, Faridabad, under the guidance of Dr. Archana Bhatia, organized a 30-hour training program to provide students with knowledge about the stock market. CA Pankaj Goyal, an investment research analyst, was the key speaker for this program. The course was conducted free of cost for the students.
During the training sessions, which had been running since September 2024, CA Goyal shed light on essential topics related to mutual funds. He explained how students can secure their financial future by investing their money wisely to earn returns higher than the inflation rate. He also guided them on how to invest in mutual funds and SIPs (Systematic Investment Plans).
Students were trained to use applications like Screener and StockEdge for investment analysis. As part of the program, Demat accounts were opened for the students. Additionally, students were prepared to qualify for the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) certification exam, which is essential for becoming a successful mutual fund distributor in the future.
The officiating principal, Dr. Archana Bhatia, encouraged students to invest wisely and appreciated the efforts of CA Pankaj Goyal. The program was convened by Ms. Sunita Dudeja and coordinated by Ms. Meenakshi Ahuja. Around 28 students participated in the training, out of which 23 students received certificates.
